Job Description

  • Develop new clients for Central Trust Company (CTC)
  • Work with Regional Manager on marketing and sales strategies
  • Make presentations to high net worth individuals & institutions
  • Make presentations to boards, community groups and other entities regarding the services offered by CTC
  • Open investment accounts, IRAs, trusts, retirement plans, successor trusteeships and all other accounts offered by CTC
  • Develop relationships with & referrals from employees at Central Bancompany affiliate banks
  • Develop relationships with & referrals from external sources (accountants, attorneys, etc.)
  • Monitor & record all referrals received and prepare referral incentive submissions
  • Serve as a CTC public relations representative in the community
  • Report to CTC Sales Manager on annual sales goals and production as relates to those goals
  • Assist Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers with clients and prospects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • College degree and five years experience in the financial services industry; or professional designation such as CTFA, CFP, etc.
  • Seven years experience in the financial services industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous sales experience and/or client service experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze a great deal of information in a short period of time
  • Great deal of initiative to sell and cross-sell trust company and bank products and services
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional appearance and mannerisms
