Springfield Office Raises Money for Children by Serving Chili

Members of our Central Trust Company team in Springfield along with Central Bank of the Ozarks partnered up to serve chili and raise money for the 2018
Sertoma Chili Cook-off.  The annual event raises thousands of dollars for local children’s charities. Central’s theme was Chiliwood, complete with the red carpet, a photo booth, and of course lots of chili. Our team dressed well for the occasion. The event also has a fundraising aspect. To raise funds our team held a casual day at the bank the week before the event and sold “Chili Survival Kits” at the event. We were proud to take home the 3rd place prize for “Most Money Raised by a Large Business.”
