Jim has more than 20 years of experience as a portfolio manager. He enjoys studying the markets and loves his job because it enables him to help other people.
His primary role at Central Trust Company is to work with clients to structure and manage customized investment portfolios to meet the client’s individual goals.
Although Jim is a native Springfieldian, his baseball career took him to cities across the country. He was a second baseman for both the MU Tigers and the Montreal Expos’ minor league system.

Interests & Activities
Jim is active in his community serving as a member of the Downtown Rotary and as a board member of the James River Basin Partnership.
He is a world traveler (he spent 10 years traveling the world for his first job), and he has had the opportunity to visit many foreign countries. Scandinavia is one of his favorite places because of the breathtaking scenery of the fjords in Norway.
Jim is also an avid fisherman and a proud member of Ozark Flyfishers Association. He enjoys casting in far-off places such as Alaska and Argentina. In addition to fly fishing, Jim enjoys floating streams in the Ozarks and taking long hikes with his two dogs.
